Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, formerly of the Georgia Bulldogs, became the first rookie receiver to make the Pro Bowl since Anquan Boldin in 2003, and Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson, pride of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, made his second Pro Bowl.

Other former UGA stars selected: defensive tackle Vince Wilfork (New England Patriots) made his fourth, defensive lineman Richard Seymour (Oakland Raiders) made his seventh, and cornerback Champ Bailey (Denver Broncos) made his 11th. The AFC defense could be better than one-fourth Dawgs at some point, in other words.
For locals with little reason to tune in, seeing as Tony Gonzalez is the only Atlanta Falcons representative to make the game, a handful of Peach State college talent might make for AH WHO AM I KIDDING nobody is going to watch this anyway.
