2011 NFL Preseason Schedules: Falcons Get Steelers, Ravens, Dolphins, Jaguars

Stay connected for news and updates

The NFL announced its complete 2011 preseason schedule Tuesday, beginning with the August 7 Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio between the St. Louis Rams and Chicago Bears, both of which are heavily populated with future Pro Football Hall of Famers.

The Atlanta Falcons start their hypothetical preseason schedule with an August 13 night game against the Miami Dolphins at the Georgia Dome, followed by a Friday trip to play the Jacksonville Jaguars, as is required by international law. The week three game at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers is set for August 27, and the whole shebang wraps up against the Baltimore Ravens (told you!) in an Atlanta Thursday nighter.

For its inclusion of both the Jaguars and Ravens, I dub this the most Atlanta Falcons preseason schedule of all time, though I'm dismayed to discover the Tennessee Titans are nowhere to be found.
