The NFL has announced 32 "greats" will present each team's second round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft live from Radio City Music Hall next Friday, or whichever pick comes first after Thursday for those teams without second-rounders. Jessie Tuggle will present for the Atlanta Falcons -- a curious honor indeed for a five-time Pro Bowler who was never actually drafted.
The College Football Hall of Famer from Valdosta has seen his No. 58 retired by the team, ranks first on the franchise's all-time list for various tackling achievements, and is probably the third- or fourth-most-deserving player in Falcons history of Pro Football Hall of Fame induction, should Canton ever get around to sufficiently acknowledging its Southeastern teams. But that's a rant!
