Falcons-Browns Trade In 2011 NFL Draft 'More Likely Than Not,' According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

As widely rumored yet dismissed, the Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns are reportedly very close to pulling off a trade that would give the Falcons the right to Cleveland's No. 6 selection. Sports Illustrated's Jim Trotter sent a message to Peter King via Twitter, commenting that the Falcons are "definitely pondering" a move and that he's "starting to feel it's more likely than not."

That's Trotter, King, Jason La Canfora and Jay Glazer who are reporting a Browns-Falcons trade in one fashion or another. Where there's smoke, there's ... well, there's something.

A.J. Green is expected to be off the board by then, making Julio Jones the reported apple of Thomas Dimitroff's eye.
