Good news comes in bunches some times. Minutes after Adam Schefter broke the news of RT Tyson Clabo's re-signing with the Atlanta Falcons, D. Orlando Ledbetter reported the team had signed rookie RB Jacquizz Rodgers. Not to be outdone, Jason La Canfora reported seconds later that Julio Jones had been signed as well, meaning every rookie will be cleared to practice.
Update: Zach Klein adds a little math: $16.2 million guaranteed for four years of Julio Jones.
We don't have financials yet for any of these deals, save Akeem Dent's, which came by way of Aaron Wilson. How great is the new rookie wage scale? All six rookies signed days after the lockout ends.
And check out how many instant contributors you're looking at here. Matt Bosher should take over as the starting punter now that Matt Bryant has been re-signed.

Georgia native and Georgia Bulldogs product Akeem Dent became the fourth 2011 rookie to sign with the Atlanta Falcons, D. Orlando Ledbetter reported Thursday afternoon. This leaves just Julio Jones and Jacquizz Rodgers left to sign. "Just" Julio Jones.
The NFL's new collective bargaining agreement has made for some quick rookie signings, as several first-rounders -- including A.J. Green -- are already inked. Under the new arrangement, rookies get their entire contracts guaranteed, though the deals themselves are smaller.
Dent is expected to take over a backup OLB spot behind Sean Weatherspoon or Stephen Nicholas. The Falcons also re-signed Mike Peterson for one year, ensuring Dent will have plenty of veteran leadership nearby. He'll be able to compete in training camp starting Friday.

The Atlanta Falcons announced they've signed their first three rookies from the 2011 crop. Miami Hurricanes kicker Matt Bosher, Fresno St. Bulldogs OL Andrew Jackson and DE Cliff Matthews are in the boat with four-year deals and will be able to partake in Day 1 of on-field training camp action at Flowery Branch on Friday.
Still remaining are Georgia Bulldogs LB Akeem Dent, Oregon St. Beavers RB Jacquizz Rodgers and the big dog Julio Jones of the Alabama Crimson Tide. The team hasn't been able to announce much in free agency so far, with Tyson Clabo negotiations presumably holding things up, so it's good to see the wheels are still turning. In case you'd thought they were taking the week off. I don't think anybody thought that.
No financial terms have been revealed yet, but here's where we stand:
