Atlanta Falcons camp cut Jamaal Anderson scored a touchdown for the Indianapolis Colts Sunday night. As you can expect, given his name and his former team, this led to some confusion:
Not only did the Falcons offense only muster a single touchdown, that touchdown was matched by a former defensive end who was cut in order to bring in a player whose offside penalty ended Atlanta's chance of beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It's the circle of life, and nobody's happy about it, but I'm pretty sure the Birds got all their bad karma out of the way for the year in that sole revolution. I say that while fully aware of the bad karma of which Atlanta's NFL franchise is capable.
(Did you know Jamaal could move like that? I sure didn't.)
