Around the perimeter of the Atlanta sports world.

Former Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks coach Bob Bratkowski, now the offensive coordinator for Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey, who was the Falcons' offensive coordinator for the past four years:
@vitostellino Bratkowski said OC is most criticized guy because so many fans play Madden and think they can call plays.
Not having a hard time reading between the lines here, you guys.
Mularkey was widely disparaged throughout Georgia for his play calling, which tended toward the excessively conservative, especially in key moments. It's been quite a while since Falcons fans have called for a coach's job like they did with Mularkey. It wasn't just fans, though, as national analysts and even anonymous Falcons players took issue after Atlanta's offense was shut out by the New York Giants in the playoffs.
No hard feelings and all. We wish him well on his journey in the AFC South. He knows more football than you and I and our three best friends combined, and that's that.
