NFL Free Agency: John Abraham Likely To Leave Falcons, According To Report

More: If Abraham is gone, it's been one hell of a run

The Atlanta Falcons can add "defensive end" to their list of needs this offseason as 4-time Pro Bowler John Abraham has had communication with the Falcons organization and per a report will not return to the club.

The Falcons secondary and tight end positions were already being targeted as areas of significant need coming into this offseason. While many believe general manager Thomas Dimitroff will target a tight end in the draft, there could be some intriguing options available for the Falcons at defensive end as well.

If the report holds true, the Falcons could lose two Pro Bowl defenders in free agency, as cornerback Brent Grimes may also have the chance to test the open market.
