Falcons reached agreement with former Seahawks Pro Bowl LB Lofa Tatupu.

The Falcons reportedly worked out Tatupu earlier today. He last played during the 2010 season for the Seahawks who asked him to restructure his deal following the season. Tatupu refused the request and was then released. He sat out all of last season.
This is also one of the first indications that the Falcons are seriously concerned about losing linebacker Curtis Lofton in free agency. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rumored to be showing interest in Lofton and have plenty of salary cap room to negotiate with. If healthy, Tatupu figures to be a solid alternative to provide depth at the linebacker position.
