According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Tennessee Titans, who are looking to boost their pass rush, may soon host Atlanta Falcons free agent defensive end John Abraham, who is coming off his sixth season with the Falcons and his 12th season in the league.
As we understand it, the Titans and Abraham were trying to schedule a visit, but that the Peyton chase has delayed things. With coach Mike Munchak and others traveling to meet with Manning, a visit with Abraham has not been scheduled.
Abraham will be a much cheaper pass rushing defensive end than Mario Williams would be and he has still been productive in Atlanta despite his age. He is coming off a 9.5 sack season and has 112 sacks in his 12 year career. He has also had at least 10 sacks in six of his 12 seasons in the league.
