With the release of the 2012 NFL schedule, the Falcons find themselves with four primetime games, two of which will be on ESPN's "Monday Night Football," and they're very far apart.
In Week 2, the Falcons will host the Denver Broncos as Peyton Manning makes his "Monday Night Football" debut in a Denver uniform. In Week 16, the Falcons will travel to Detroit to face the Lions on a Saturday night. The Falcons defeated the Lions 23-16 in Detroit last season.
The Falcons were on MNF once last season, losing to the Saints in Week 16.
Here is the 2012 "Monday Night Football" schedule:
Week 2: Broncos vs. Falcons
Week 6: Broncos vs. Chargers
Week 7: Lions vs. Bears
Week 11: Bears vs. 49ers
Week 12: Panthers vs. Eagles
Week 14: Texans vs. Patriots
Week 15: Jets vs. Titans
Week 16: Falcons vs. Lions (Saturday)
