2012 NFL Draft: Ben Jones Drafted By Texans In 4th Round

Stay connected for news and updates

The Houston Texans have selected Ben Jones in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Jones anchored Georgia's offensive line at the center position and was rated by Mel Kiper as one of the top centers available.

Jones is the fourth player drafted by the Texans in the 2012 Draft. The Texans previously selected Whitney Mercilus (Illinois), DeVier Posey (Ohio State) and Brandon Brooks (Miami). Jones and Brooks should be able to help add some depth to the Texans' offensive line.

Jones is the 2nd Georgia player picked in this year's draft. The Bulldogs had six players picked in 2011 and an all-time high of eight in 2002.
