Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Ben Jones is an official member of the Houston Texans after signing with the team on Monday, according to longtime NFL writer at the Houston Chronicle John McClain.
Texans have signed C Ben Jones (4th round), WR Keshawn Martin (4), DT Jared Crick (4), K Randy Bullock (5) and OT Nick Mondek (6).

Jones was selected by the Texans in the fourth round of the draft in April. The pick was an interesting one, considering Jones is a center and the Texans had just re-signed Chris Myers at that position. Of course, the need for depth on the offensive line can't be understated, and Jones could easily see playing time as a backup, or he could be switched to guard on occasion.
Either way, the former Bulldog is a Texan now.
