Fantasy football experts don't expect Atlanta's Michael Turner to be an elite running back in 2012.

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner is ranked 16th in ESPN's current fantasy football RB rankings. Turner ran for 1,340 yards and scored 11 touchdowns in 2011; it was his third thousand-yard season in the last four years.

Back in June, Yahoo! Sports' Brad Evans had this to say about Turner:

The Burner, now practically extinguished, is the virtual game's most overrated early round pick (30.0 ADP, RB16). His value is and will continue to be locked in a deep freeze. Dirk Koetter's insistence on installing more screens and swings has the stone-handed rusher on the outside looking in. More reliable pass catchers Jason Snelling and breakout favorite Jacquizz Rodgers are destined for more touches, relegating Turner almost exclusively to short-yardage and some early down work.
