Stay connected for news and updates

The Atlanta Falcons escaped Week 3 without any major injuries, though wide receiver Julio Jones hurt a hand on the first drive of the game. Jones left briefly to get the hand checked out and was able to return to the game and contribute. He finished the day with five catches for 67 yards and a score.

Since he was able to return and complete Sunday's game, he figures to be good to go for Atlanta's Week 4 game against the Carolina Panthers. Roddy White was nursing a minor knee injury heading into the Chargers game, but he was able to fully participate in the contest.

Cornerback Christopher Owens and running back Antone Smith both missed Sunday's game because of injuries.
