The deal sending Rashard Lewis to Washington straight up for Gilbert Arenas has now been announced by Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. More good news for Hawks fans-the Magic will be extremely shorthanded tonight against the 76ers.
There is a side effect which might be marginally beneficial for the Magic, which is that Brandon Bass should receive more playing time. That benefit is probably insufficient to make either these trades seem successful.
