Wizards Vs. Hawks: Zaza Pachulia Tests Shoulder, Will Play Against Washington

Stay connected for news and updates

Atlanta Hawks back-up center Zaza Pachulia woke up with a sore shoulder Wednesday morning and was listed as a game-time decision by Atlanta for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards.

After testing the shoulder out in pregame warm-ups, Pachulia told Hawks beat writer Michael Cunningham that he would play in Wednesday's home opener.

Pachulia was a big part of Atlanta's season opening victory on Tuesday against the New Jersey Nets logging a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Pachulia had the shoulder checked out this afternoon with doctors telling him it was tendinitis in the shoulder.
