Wizards Vs. Hawks Score: Atlanta Trails Washington 61-46 At Half

The Atlanta Hawks are getting abused on the boards and utterly embarrassed against one of the worst teams in the league.

John Wall has 10 points and Andray Blatche added nine to post the Wizards to a 61-46 lead over the Hawks at the half.

Fomer Hawk Maurice Evans has eight points, including a tip in at the buzzer while rookie Jordan Crawford netted four points against his former team.

Washington has been the aggressor in this one. They hold a 26-13 edge on the glass and a 10-2 advantage on the offensive boards. The Wizards have also blocked six shots and forced 10 Hawks turnovers.

If not for some energy off of the bench by Jamal Crawford, this one would be much, much worse. Jamal Crawford posted 13 straight points while Atlanta was otherwise lackadaisical on offense. Joe Johnson added 10 for the Hawks.

Former Wizard Kirk Hinrich has three points while Hilton Armstrong is scoreless in the contest.

Al Horford and Marvin Williams netted eight points each for Atlanta, which is seeking its 13th straight win over Washington.
