Al Horford Injury: Hawks Center Leaves Game With Apparent Shoulder Injury

Stay connected for news and updates

The Atlanta Hawks are holding their breath after All-Star center Al Horford left the game in the first quarter with an apparent shoulder injury. Horford fell to the ground after having his shot blocked by Indiana's Roy Hibbert and immediately clutched his shoulder.

Horford left the floor and immediately headed to the locker room to be examined. Zaza Pachulia replaced Horford in the Hawks lineup. With Marvin Williams and Tracy McGrady already sidelined for tonight's game, Atlanta can ill-afford to lose Horford for any period of time. Horford is averaging 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds through the first 10 games this season.
