Hawks Schedule 2012: Atlanta Heading Out West For Three Games

The Hawks are heading to the West coast where they will be taking on the Lakers, Suns and Trail Blazers.

Feb 13, 2012 - The Atlanta Hawks are heading out on a Western Conference road swing for their next three games, and will try to move on from their 20 point loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday night. However, their first game is against the Los Angeles Lakers who are 11-2 at home, and combine that with the Hawks average road record of 9-5 and the first matchup could be difficult.

The second game of the road trip does not get much easier as it is the following day against the Phoenix Suns. The Suns game is more favorable to the Hawks since their record is below .500. Even though the Hawks are at a disadvantage of playing on the road for the second straight night, but so are the Suns who are also playing their second game in as many days with their prior game being on the road.

The third game of the week has the Hawks traveling to play the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. With two days off the Hawks should be rested from playing two games in two nights on the road earlier in the week.
