Atlanta's Joe Johnson is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks with tendinitis in his left knee.

All-Star guard Joe Johnson left Monday's loss to the Chicago Bulls midway through the third quarter and did not return because of tendinitis in his left knee. Johnson is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks.

Johnson's status after Wednesday is unknown and he has a heavy schedule as a part of the NBA's All-Star Weekend. Johnson is currently scheduled to participate in the Shooting Stars Competition and the Three-Point shootout on Saturday night. On Sunday Johnson is slated to be a reserve for the Eastern Conference in the All-Star game. The Hawks wrap up the first half of the NBA season on Thursday with a home game against Orlando.

Atlanta has been ravaged with injuries this season having already lost Al Horford and Jason Collins for significant periods of time. Marvin Williams also missed Monday's loss while attending a family funeral. The Hawks have lost seven of their last 10 games and may need this weekend's break to step away from the game in an effort to regroup for the second half.
