The Atlanta Hawks continue their road trip with a stop in Denver against the Nuggets.
The Atlanta Hawks' six-game road trip continues with a matchup in Denver against the Nuggets. Atlanta is 2-2 on the current trip after Sunday's 106-99 win over the Sacramento Kings. Amid trade rumors, Josh Smith has played exceptional for the Hawks averaging 25 points a game in his last five contests.
Atlanta played on Sunday without rookie forward Ivan Johnson who returned to Texas where he is awaiting the birth of his first-child. He may or may not rejoin the team before Tuesday's game in Denver. Reserve guard Willie Green missed his sixth straight game on Sunday with a back injury.
Denver comes into the game having won six of its last 10 games but suffered a 94-91 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
