When Jannero Pargo first had surgery on his appendix it was thought that he might miss as much as a month of action. After a post-op check up, Pargo at least thinks he will be back on the court much quicker than that.
Just left the Doc office for my post surgery check up and I will be back on the court in no time

Pargo's injury has left the Hawks thin in the backcourt as they had just recently shifted Kirk Hinrich into the starting lineup alongside Jeff Teague and Joe Johnson moving to small forward. Hinrich has still been backing up Teague as the starting point guard in Pargo's absence but both have been playing heavy minutes of late.
Pargo has played in 39 games for the Hawks this season and is averaging 5.2 points and 1.4 assists while shooting a career best 42 percent from the field.
