Hawks Vs. Knicks Final Score: Atlanta Defeats New York 100-90 Behind Joe Johnson's 28 Points

The Atlanta Hawks had three players score over 20 points in their 100-90 win over the New York Knicks. Joe Johnson led the way with 28 points with Josh Smith adding 23 points and Willie Green had 20 points in only 19 minutes.

The Knicks had 36 points from Carmelo Anthony and 25 from Iman Shumpert but those were the only two players for the Knicks to score in double figures.

The Hawks led by 12 at the half, but the Knicks made a comeback in the third quarter to make it a five-point game heading into the fourth quarter. In the final period it was Green who led the way for the Hawks as he scored 15 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter.

Green went on his own personal 7-0 run against the Knicks to extend their lead to 12 points with 2:51 left and that run sealed the win for the Hawks.

Hawks Vs. Knicks Halftime Score: Atlanta Leads New York, 52-40

After one first half of play the Atlanta Hawks offense is rolling against the New York Knicks and are leading 52-40 at the half. The Hawks have a comfortable 12 point lead and were able to pull away by having runs of 6-0 and 7-0 late in the first and early second quarter to be ahead.

Josh Smith is leading the three Hawks players in double digits with 17 points, the other two are Joe Johnson who has 12 points and Marvin Williams came off the bench to have 11 first half points. As a team the Hawks are shooting 54 percent from the field.

On the Knicks side of things Carmelo Anthony is leading all scorers with 19 points, but he has been all of the offense for the Knicks as they are shooting only 40 percent for the game.

Hawks Injury Update: Vladimir Radmanovic, Jannero Pargo Not Expected To Play Against Knicks

The New York Knicks aren't the only team going into to Friday night's matchup a little banged up. The Atlanta Hawks will go without Vladimir Radmanovic and Jannero Pargo as both are dealing with injuries, according to Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Radmanovic is suffering from an ailing back, while Pargo is recovering from and appendectomy.

The Knicks are playing without point guard Jeremy Lin and Amare Stoudemire in Mike Woodson's return, so Baron Davis and Mike Bibby will be the featured point guards for New York.

Knicks Vs. Hawks: Jeremy Lin Ruled Out With Knee Injury

There will be no Linsanity Friday night at Philips Arena as Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin will not play due to a knee injury. Knicks head coach Mike Woodson confirmed that Lin will miss his third straight game. Baron Davis is expected to start in his place.

With Davis starting, it is likely that former Hawks point guard Mike Bibby will also make an appearance in tonight's game. Bibby played just over 17 minutes in Thursday's win over the Orlando Magic.

Lin is averaging 14.6 points and 6.1 assists per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. Lin scored 17 points and handed out nine assists in the Knicks 99-82 win over the Hawks earlier this season.
