NBA Playoffs 2012: Ray Allen Will Be Game Time Decision, Mickael Pietrus Will Start For Celtics

The Atlanta Hawks have a 1-0 lead in their first-round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. As the Hawks prepare to host the Celtics in Game 2 on Tuesday night, they will enter the game knowing that they'll be taking a severely depleted Boston squad.

Paul Flannery of WEEI in Boston reports that Ray Allen is likely to be out again for Game 2. The Boston star missed the first game with an ankle injury and remains a game time decision, but signs indicate he will be unable to play again.

Compounding the Celtics' woes is the suspension of Rajon Rondo, who bumped an official in Game 1 and will be out for Tuesday's matchup. According to Flannery, the Celtics will start Mickael Pietrus and Avery Bradley in the backcourt for the game.

The situation seems ideal for Atlanta to take advantage and grab a two-game lead in the series.
