VIDEO: Josh Smith Leaves Game With Sprained Knee

Stay connected for news and updates

On top of watching an eleven point lead slip away in the second half the Atlanta Hawks also had to watch star power forward Josh Smith head to the locker room with a sprained knee.

Smith is questionable to return but the Hawks can ill-afford to be without Smith for any length of time in this series. The Hawks have already been battered with injuries to their frontcourt. Al Horford remains out after surgery to repain a torn pectoral muscle. Center Zaza Pachulia missed the last seven games of the regular season and also sat out the Game 1 win over the Celtics. He is listed as day-to-day but is unsure when he might return.

Smith leaves the game with 16 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes of playing time.
