Hawks Vs. Celtics, Game 6 Score Update: Atlanta Trails 47-41 At Halftime

Needing a win to keep their season alive and force a Game 7, the Hawks have one half left to do so, trailing the Celtics 47-41 at halftime of Game 6 in Boston.

The first quarter was pretty even, with neither team leading by more than five. Atlanta led 23-20 after the first quarter. After the Hawks took a 31-25 lead with 8:11 left in the second, Boston went on a 16-0 run to take a double-digit lead.

Josh Smith leads Atlanta with 12 points on 6-for-10 shooting with five rebounds. Marvin Williams has 11 points, while Al Horford has six rebounds. The Hawks shot 43.9 percent for the floor and the Celtics shot 47.5 percent. Kevin Garnett leads Boston with 13 points. The Celtics have eight steals, as Atlanta has struggled to hold onto the ball.
