Veteran Celtics guard Ray Allen is getting closer to making his 2012 NBA Playoffs debut.
Allen has missed the final nine games of the regular season and the first two games of the Hawks/Celtics series with a right ankle injury, The series is tied at one game heading back to Boston on Friday.
SBNation Boston's Gethin Coolbaugh was at practice Thursday and got an update on Allen's status.

According to ESPNBoston.com, Allen participated in a full 75-minute practice, mostly working on half-court sets. Now trainers will be waiting to see how the ankle responds.
