While it is debatable as to whether or not you really want to believe any reports involving Dwight Howard a new one is suggesting that he has softened his stance and is willing to re-sign with the Lakers if traded to L.A.
Sources confirm @JRudolphSports report that Dwight Howard is ready to join Lakers. If traded to LA DH will re-sign long-term with team

Of course no one in Howard's camp is talking publicly so its hard to say whether or not the report is accurate but at some point Howard has to look to another team as it appears Brooklyn is out of the running until at least January. The Lakers have the most logical trade piece in the league to offer for Howard in Andrew Bynum.
This is bad news for the Hawks who have cleared the deck to have max cap space available starting next summer when Howard becomes a free agent. However, if this situation has shown us anything its that anything is possible until the ink is dry on Howard's new contract.
