It’s amazing how much of a difference in quality of defense there is with Ron Hainsey and Zach Bogosian out. Eric Boulton and Niclas Bergfors are the two scratches. It’s not surprising to see Boulton as the scratch, seeing has how tweaking the fourth line, the one line that works, is not a good idea – but the Ducks are rough when annoyed, and right now they’re very not happy with their play. Thorburn, Eager, and Slater will have to step up if an altercation happens.

Sitting Bergfors over Stewart is interesting. Stewart is a -4 thus far over the season, while Bergfors is a +1 with two assists.
