In some really solid marketing that shows exactly why the Nashville Predators have become the epitome of the successful Sunbelt team, Predators ticket reps are contacting Thrashers fans. Any Thrash fan who has purchased a ticket to a Predators game at some point probably handed over some contact info, which led to these phone calls today.
Preds being creative. RT @KrisNorris12345: Was contacted today by #Predators tix rep. They're putting together a #Thrashers Fan Minipackage.
Not sure exactly what the package entails, but that's not really the point here. The point is that Nashville is grabbing a hold of a bad situation and marketing the hell out of it - and doing a great job. A lot of Thrashers fans have been trying to figure out what team they'll watch when they're able to watch hockey again, and a decent portion have been more than favorable to the Preds.
A short four hour drive to Nashville, the Predators organization's history of being welcoming to Thrashers fans, and the kindness of their fanbase makes this team a more than appealing choice.
Heck, though - if you can't decide, why not participate in HF Boards' Atlanta Fan Dispersal Draft?
