The Falcons didn't sustain any major injuries in a win against the Raiders.

The Atlanta Falcons managed to avoid injuries during Week 6, but they came into Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders with several players on the mend. Both running back Antone Smith (hamstring) and tight end Michael Palmer (shoulder) were inactive -- neither player was able to practice last week. Their statuses for Week 8 are unknown at this point.

Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux was limited by a groin injury in practice but was able to play on Sunday. Babineaux has started all six games. Linebacker Stephen Nicholas, who has made five starts in 2012, was also able to go after being limited during practice.

The Falcons needed a late field goal to take down the Raiders on Sunday, and they improved to 6-0 with the win. They are off in Week 7, which will give the players battling injury some extra time to heal.
