Ahead of Sunday's big NFC South matchup, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had some choice words about the Saints.
Roddy White hasn't found much to like about his team's trips to New Orleans in the last few years. With a 2-5 record against the Saints in the Superdome since White joined the Falcons, and coming off last year's 45-16 pasting, it's not surprising that White doesn't feel too much love for the Big Easy.
"I don’t like nothing about the Saints," White told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "The colors. The city. Nothing. But they’ve got some good food, though. Other than the food, nothing."
Atlanta has a chance this weekend, however, to remain the NFL's only unbeaten team and deal a potentially mortal blow to the Saints' playoff hopes. They can also snap a three-game losing streak to Drew Brees and company and solidify their place as the NFC's top team.
To do so, however, they'll have to slow down Brees and New Orleans' explosive offense. But Atlanta's trio of White, Matt Ryan and Julio Jones should make Sunday afternoon's game a shootout. And if the 8-0 Falcons can stop the Saints, they'll have an almost insurmountable six-game lead in the division over New Orleans with seven games to play.
