After losing to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons dropped out of first place in the SB Nation Power Rankings. Who is the new No. 1 team?

The Atlanta Falcons' 31-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday did more than just wreck the Falcons' chances at an undefeated season. The loss also dropped the Falcons out of the top spot in the SB Nation Power Rankings compiled by Joel Thorman.

Thorman only dropped the Falcons one spot to No. 2 in the power rankings, while the Houston Texans replaced the Falcons at the top of the list. Despite the small drop, he had some words to say about the Falcons' running game, in particular feature running back Michael Turner's disappointing performance, rushing for only 15 yards against the Saints:

That's not to say Atlanta is all of a sudden a bad team. They're not. They're still one of the two best teams in the NFL. The Falcons' shortcomings came back to bite them when they needed to pick up critical yards late in that game and Michael Turner was incapable of doing so. The running game will be an issue in January.

The Falcons now prepare for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals at the Georgia Dome. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff and the game will be televised on Fox. The radio broadcast of the game will be on WSTR Star 94 FM and WQXI 790 AM.
