Both players sat out Tuesday's practice. Jerry missed Sunday's game and hasn't practiced in two weeks.

Three Atlanta Falcons missed practice Tuesday, according to the team's injury report. Another eight Falcons practiced but were limited in their participation. None of the players in question have been ruled out for Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Cornerback Asante Samuel (shoulder), defensive tackle Peria Jerry (quadricep) and cornerback Dunta Robinson (illness) sat out Tuesday. Robinson is listed as probable for Thursday's game. Samuel and Jerry are both listed as questionable. According to NBC Sports, both players appear to be game-time decisions. Jerry did not play against Tampa Bay this past Sunday, and has missed practice for two weeks since injuring himself against Arizona.

Falcons coach Mike Smith did not tip his hand when talking about Samuel.

"We’re going to have to go up to game time to see where he’s at in making a decision on whether he’s going to be able to play or not," Smith told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Atlanta leads New Orleans by five games in the NFC South, but the Saints handed the Falcons their only loss of the season.
