Despite being undefeated at home, the majority of national experts see the Atlanta Falcons falling to the New York Giants Sunday.
The Atlanta Falcons are 11-2 on the season and undefeated at home. Despite that, a majority of national experts have the New York Giants as favorites to come in to the Georgia Dome Sunday and hand the Falcons their third loss of the season.
Part of the reason for this may have to do with how each team performed last week. The Falcons fell at Carolina, 30-20, while the Giants hammered the New Orleans Saints at home, 52-27. Of the eight experts making picks for CBS Sports, only Pete Prisco and Will Brinson have Atlanta winning the game.
ESPN and Yahoo! both see the game as a little bit closer than CBS' crew. ESPN's expert panel of 14 have this game split evenly, seven to seven. Meanwhile, Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports is picking the home team to win, while Jason Cole and Les Carpenter have the Giants winning.
Sunday's game from the Georgia Dome is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen on Fox.
