Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan broke two franchise records in the team's dominant 34-0 win over the New York Giants on Sunday. Both records were previously held by Ryan himself.

Ryan topped his old records for passing yards and completions in a single season. The quarterback has 4,202 yards passing, breaking the old mark of 4,177 yards he set in 2011. Ryan is the only quarterback in franchise history to throw for over 4,000 yards in consecutive seasons. He also has completed 369 passes, 12 more than the record 357 passes he completed back in 2010.

For the game, Ryan went 23-of-28 for 278 yards and three touchdowns. His 82.1 completion percentage and 142.6 passer rating were both the second highest of his career.

Ryan has been especially dominant at home over the course of his career, sporting a 33-4 record at the Georgia Dome. That .892 home winning percentage is the best for any quarterback in the Super Bowl era.
