Atlanta Falcons safeties William Moore and Thomas DeCoud have both been playing at a high level. Do they deserve a trip to Hawaii this season?

After Thursday night's game where the safety tandem of William Moore and Thomas DeCoud combined for three interceptions against New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, one by DeCoud and two by Moore, many Falcons players think that the two make up the best safety tandem in the NFL. Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon believes the two players have been playing at a level that should earn them a trip to Hawaii, via the team's official website:

"Those two have been playing at a Pro Bowl level all year. On the game's biggest stage, you can expect them to take their respective games to another level."

The two safeties have combined for nine interceptions, DeCoud with five and Moore with four, which leads the NFL among combined starting safeties. The closest tandem to DeCoud and Moore are the tandem for the New York Giants, with safeties Stevie Brown and Antrel Rolle combining for seven picks. There are three teams, the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers with safety tandems that have combined for five interceptions, tying them for third.

DeCoud and Moore are preparing for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of American Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The game is set for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff and will be broadcast on Fox.
