The top seeded Falcons will host the red hot Seattle Seahawks next Sunday in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs.
The Atlanta Falcons know who they will play in the NFC Divisional round of the NFL playoffs, and it's the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks defeated the Washington Redskins 24-14 on Sunday and will travel down to Atlanta for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday, Dec. 13. The game can be seen nationally on FOX.
The Seahawks and Falcons did not meet during the 2012 season, so these teams won't have anything to go on other than film. Seattle finished the regular season at 11-5, but finished just behind the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC West title, pushing them all the way down to the 5th seed. The Seattle offense has hit high gear over the past month, so the Falcons will be happy to have safety William Moore back from a hamstring injury in time for the game.
