Around the perimeter of the Atlanta sports world.
Alligator Army, SB Nation's Florida Gators community, is all a-sputter over Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator Todd Grantham's apparent use of a choke signal, directed at Gators kicker Chas Henry. Henry was lining up for the eventual gamewinning field goal at the time. You could say, oh, well, obviously that's just the signal for BLOCK THE KICK, but there aren't many special teams calls that require both a grip of the jugular and a CH on the lips.
Also spotted: Mark Richt plotting his failed kicker-icing and a Georgia assistant thinking Grantham should maybe try yoga or something.
Let's make a deal, Gators: you let convicted triple axe murderer* Chris Rainey score your opening touchdown, and we'll let our defensive coordinator hope your kicker doesn't score points. Because Urban Meyer has never tried to play head games with an opposing kicker and the game on the line.
* Actually, that wasn't Rainey. Jeff Demps dressed up as Rainey for Halloween on that first possession. Big misunderstanding.

You make a valid point ...
… until you overstepped and called Rainey a “triple axe murderer.”
Yep, if anyone’s making a bid deal out of Grantham making the “choke” sign, it’s silly. But to argue that as being ok by extraordinarily exaggerating Chris Rainey’s actions negates your argument.
But, keeping with SB Nation to have a sense of humor, how’s this:
Instead of the Dawgs always showing off their dancing abilities since Trinton Sturdivant & Co’s So You Think You Can Dance audition in 2007, they might try practicing and focusing more on football. But, once again, dancing on the sidelines each year at the UF/UGA game to try to throw The Gators off only comes back to bite the Dawgs in their own ass.
Dance on, Losers, Dance on.

Bitter?
It is a game and both teams have off field issues this season. The “Chock Sign” may not be professional but not a big deal. Jason it will all be fine, no need to act unprofessional.
