College Basketball Recruiting: Robert Carter Enjoys Georgia Tech Visit

After being declared a top priority during his official visit to Athens, Robert Carter rated his visit to Georgia Tech as a 9 on a scale of 1-10. Both the Yellow Jackets and the Bulldogs are putting a lot of effort into recruiting Carter who still plans to visit Florida, Florida State and either Maryland or Kentucky.

"I had a good time at Georgia Tech. I enjoyed spending time with the coaches and players, and I like the direction that coach [Brian Gregory] is taking the program. I don't know if I could really rate it, though." After pausing for a few seconds, Carter said, "I'd probably give it a 9."

Carter was entertained in Athens by Georgia freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, while Georgia Tech went to great lengths to bring in both of its 2012 commitments in North Gwinnett's Chris Bolden and North Clayton's Marcus Hunt.

Carter says that he still doesn't have a leader and plans to take the rest of his scheduled trips before making up his mind.
