Georgia Vs. Florida: Malcolm Mitchell 'Doubtful,' Says Mark Richt

Stay connected for news and updates

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt told AM 680 The Fan in Atlanta that wide receiver Malcom Mitchell is doubtful for Saturday's Cocktail Party against Florida with a hamstring injury. Mitchell re-aggravated the hamstring during practice Monday, and didn't participate on Tuesday.

Through six games this season, the freshman from Valdosta leads Georgia in receiving yards with 438 yards on 25 receptions and three touchdowns. Junior Marlon Brown helped fill in production when Mitchell sat out the Vanderbilt game, grabbing 121 yards and two touchdowns.

Mitchell, along with injured freshman tailback Isaiah Crowell (wrist), were both considered massive recruiting hits for Richt in the offseason, and have instantly found feature features in Georgia's offense.
