Georgia Vs. Florida: John Brantley Warming Up, Will Apparently Start

Stay connected for news and updates

Did Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp outsmart everyone who assumed he wouldn't really name John Brantley his starter before he really had to? Or is he presently outsmarting everybody right now by having Brantley warm up on the field even though he's not going to start? Oh, the overthinking!

Either way, Brantley is warming up, heavily taped and appears to be moving fine, according to Rachel George and Scott Carter

There'd been much hubbub before the game that Jacoby Brissett could get the surprise start. That looks less likely now, but absolutely anything can happen in the Cocktail Party. Without Brantley at the helm, Florida's chances would shrivel. Now, with Malcolm Mitchell and Israel Troupe out, Florida might have the offensive edge.
