Wide receiver Michael Bennett might be the Georgia Bulldogs offensive MVP so far. He made a tough catch of a 20-yard Aaron Murray pass late in the half to cut the Florida Gators lead to 17-10 just before the half, and made another great grab for a first down earlier. He has ... well, all of 25 yards.
A Chris Rainey fumble set up Georgia's first touchdown of the game. It's a wonder that one score could narrow Florida's advantage so much, considering those two UGA turnovers and that Blair Walsh missed field goal. But Florida's missed a field goal of their own, so here we are.
The injured John Brantley has been peppered with violence throughout. Five sacks already. If he can hold up, he should still pose a problem for Georgia's defense. With 226 yards already, his slightly surprising presence has made a major difference in this game.
