Georgia is expected to be ranked No. 18 in the latest BCS rankings projections and Georgia Tech should sneak in at No. 25
The Georgia Bulldogs look to be just outside the top 15 once the official BCS rankings are released Sunday evening at 8:15 pm ET, as their win over the Florida Gators will move them up. The expected ranking for Georgia: No. 18. Georgia still has a long way to go to move into at-large consideration, as they are currently fourth in the SEC pecking order and will most likely need to win the SEC to get to a BCS bowl game.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets scored a big upset over the Clemson Tigers, who will fall from their No. 5 spot from last week, and with that upset it should put Georgia Tech back in the top 25 of the BCS. They were just on the outside of the USA Today Coaches and Harris Interactive poll from last week's rankings.
