SEC Football Schedule, Week 6: Auburn-Arkansas, Florida-LSU And More

Georgia -- Tennessee headlines the SEC's Week 6 games as we count down the days until Alabama -- LSU.

Your Week 6 SEC schedule. All times EST.

Mississippi State Bulldogs at UAB Blazers, 12:00 Saturday: After a brutal 0-3 start to the SEC season, Dan Mullen gets a chance to right the ship with a non-conference breather against UAB. Mullen's never won a game in Alabama in his three years at Starkville, but Legion Field isn't Bryant-Denny or Jordan-Hare and UAB is far from a SEC West power. The Blazers are 0-4 with a 39-point loss to Tulane on their resume.

Kentucky Wildcats at South Carolina Gamecocks, 12:20 Saturday, SEC Network/ESPN3: After last weekend's two-interception debacle against Auburn, Steve Spurrier has pulled the plug on the Stephen Garcia experience again. It remains to be seen whether sophomore QB Connor Shaw can keep the job, but Marcus Lattimore and Alshon Jeffery should be enough to defeat a 2-3 Kentucky team coming off consecutive 28+ point defeats to LSU and Florida.

Florida Gators at LSU Tigers, 3:30 Saturday, CBS: What a welcome to the SEC for true freshman QB Jeff Driskel -- he comes off the bench against a Nick Saban defense that smells blood in the water and now is making his first career start in Death Valley. Driskel might have PTSD after this one.

Auburn Tigers at Arkansas Razorbacks, 7:00 Saturday, ESPN/ESPN3: Auburn brings a roller-coaster season that would impress Les Miles into Fayetteville for a SEC West showdown against Bobby Petrino's Razorbacks. With Tyler Wilson at the helm, Arkansas scores a lot of points, but they give up a lot too, as Texas A&M gashed their defense for 381 rushing yards last week. Expect a big dose of Michael Dyer, who had 41 carries against South Carolina last week.

Georgia Bulldogs at Tennessee Volunteers, 7:00 Saturday, ESPN2/ESPN3: With the unsettled QB situations at Florida and South Carolina, this game represents a golden opportunity for one of these traditional SEC East powers to make a run at becoming the sacrificial lamb to be offered at the feet of Nick Saban or Les Miles at the SEC Championship Game.

Vanderbilt Commodores at Alabama Crimson Tide, 7:00 Saturday, ESPNU: Vanderbilt has been frisky under first-year head coach James Franklin, with a 3-1 record including a 23-point drubbing of Ole Miss that might cost Houston Nutt his job. But even a bye week probably won't be much help for them when they enter Bryant-Denny Stadium as 29-point underdogs.
