Georgia Vs. Georgia Tech Score: Jackets Add A Score After QB Change, UGA Leads 31-17

Stay connected for news and updates

Orwin Smith put Georgia Tech back on the board after a disastrous second half for the Yellow Jackets, scoring on a 16-yard touchdown run to cut the Georgia lead to 31-17 in the fourth quarter.

Tech turned to freshman quarterback Syngyn Days for a spark after Tevin Washington's two interceptions let Georgia jump to a 21 point lead. The Powder Springs native led a six play, 65-yard drive down the field - including a 36 yard pass to Stephen Hill - but Tech elected not to go for an on-sides kick following the score.
