The LSU Tigers should have starting safety Eric Reid back on the field this weekend for the SEC championship game against Georgia after missing last Friday's game against Arkansas.
Reid is the Tigers third leading tackler on the season with 58 tackles. He's also brought in two interceptions and fumble recovery for the LSU defense this year. Reid has been dealing with a thigh injury suffered in the victory over Ole Miss two weeks ago. via theadvocate.com
"It appears that we will have Reid ready to play," Miles said at his weekly news conference. "He warmed up and really had every opportunity last week. We decided to hold him."
Alfred Blue is the Tigers third-leading rusher on the season with 70 carries for 445 yards and six touchdowns. Blue is dealing with an ankle injury and also didn't play last week against Arkansas, but LSU head coach Les Miles expects Blue to be in there this weekend against Georgia.
