Isaiah Crowell Denies Georgia Transfer Rumors

Dec 17, 2011 - Have you heard the one about Georgia Bulldogs running back Isaiah Crowell transferring? I won't specify which one, because there have been so many, but surely at some point you've heard at least one rumor on the subject. He's been suspended, criticized for his constant injuries, and could lose his starting job in the Outback Bowl to Richard Samuel, but Crowell says there's nothing to the chatter:

Marc Weiszer@marcweiszer #UGA TB Isaiah Crowell: "Yeah, I'm happy here. I know there's rumors about me wanting to transfer, but no I've never said that."

Crowell also told Weiszer he's happy Keith Marshall will join next year, saying the depth chart was a little lacking this season. Whether there's actually been anything to all those rumors -- and it's hard to imagine there could be oh so much smoke without any fire -- it sounds like one should expect Crowell and his white puppy to remain in Athens.
