Junior tight end Orson Charles will reportedly declare for the 2012 NFL Draft, forgoing his senior year the the University of Georgia.
Dec 2, 2011 - According to Sports Illustrated's NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline, Georgia Bulldogs junior tight end Orson Charles will reportedly leave the University of Georgia early to enter the 2012 NFL Draft.

The 6'3" 240 pound Charles has been a popular target for sophomore QB Aaron Murray all season, hauling in 40 catches thus far for 530 yards and 5 touchdowns on the year. In his three years with the school he has 89 catches for 1326 yards and 10 touchdowns, so he has obviously done most of his damage this season.
Charles is also a finalist for the John Mackey Award, given annually to the top tight end in college football. Given his size and talent it's not surprise he is leaving early, though I'm sure many a Bulldog fan would have loved to see him come back for his senior year.
